This section of the site is devoted to the stage in Darren’s career from the beginning of 2004, as we waited for the, now finished, new album ‘The Tension And The Spark’. Countless dates were given for its release, both official and unofficial, raising our hopes time and again. The highlight of the early part of the year was in late April/early May, when Darrren previewed his album to the fans at several ‘listening parties’ in the USA, UK and Australia. Initial reaction was good - it was very different but still Darren.
More waiting followed as the album release date changed yet again. Darren worked his socks off doing promo. He appeared at many Parties in the Park around the UK and did lots of radio interviews. Finally, we held the album in our hands. Was it worth the wait? You bet it was!!
